Creating Art from the Heart of Intuition

Welcome to Intuitive Art by Deirdre, a space where colors flow freely, emotions find expression, and intuition guides the process. My art is a journey of discovery, creating pieces that resonate with the soul.

Each piece is born from a moment of pure intuition, allowing colors and forms to emerge without preconceived notions. It's a journey of discovery, both for me as the artist and for you as the viewer.

Each of my mixed media abstract works is a distinct journey of spontaneous discovery. I embrace a process of playful exploration, letting the canvas itself guide the organic development of the piece. My practice involves transforming and incorporating diverse materials—from repurposed canvases and found objects to the subtle textures of Santa Barbara sea sand, luminous sea glass, various fabrics, handmade papers, and even the rich tones of coffee to create a truly evolving artistic expression.

My original intuitive art can be beautifully complemented by a custom floating frame, personally handcrafted by me to enhance its unique beauty and add lasting value.
